Steven R Urie is the president and property manager of Mesa Verde Property Management. Mr. Urie has been involved with residential property management for 22 years with more than 32 years of office operations and 20 years experience in operating a maintenance company.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Finance & an MBA degree in Management Information Systems. He also holds the Residential Management Professional (RPM) and Master Property Manager (MPM) designations.

In addition, Mr. Urie is a founding member, past president, and past national board member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers. He served as the association's third president and for 5 years as a member of the Board of Directors, chairing the Membership, Convention and Legislative committees. He has also served on the Education, Certification, Finance and Management Selection committees and continues to teach seminars at the national convention and mid-year conference. He also served as president of the Phoenix (Arizona) Chapter for 3 years.

Steve has been married 30 years to his lovely wife Renae and is a father of 4.
 

Steve Urie is a member of SouthEast Valley Regional Association of REALTORSŪ, and a member of their Legislative Committee and a state approved real estate instructor. Steve was named REALTORŪ of the YEAR 2003.

Steve is very active in his community. Mesa Verde Property Management is a member of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce.

Steve Urie was elected in 1999 and re-elected to a third 4 year term as a councilman to the Gilbert Town Council after serving several years on the Gilbert Redevelopment Commission. He served as Vice Mayor in 2002-2003.

Steve has been active in the area of agricultural preservation and has served on numerous civic organizations, including the Maricopa Association of Government 2025 Vision Committee.
